Fitness Suite

The Fitness Suite has everything you need for exercise!  There are treadmills, elliptical machines and bikes for cardio.  Weight training options include a universal machine, multiple nautilus machines, free weights and benches.  There are also yoga mats, balance balls, and stretching apparatus.  Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the center.  The Fitness Suite is open the same hours as the building (M-F 6am-9pm; Sat 8am-4pm, Sun 12-4pm).  There is a membership fee for use of the Fitness Suite.

Membership is paid annually (through December 31st), prorated to the current month.  Fees include yearly membership to the Fitness Room, including Cardio Equipment, Weight Machines and Walking Track.

**Children under 10 are not permitted to use the Fitness Facility or Walking Track.  Children ages 11-15 may use the Fitness Facility when accompanied by a supervising adult, someone 18 or older.

We now offer 5 or 10 visit punch passes that allow access to the Fitness Room, including Cardio Equipment and Weight Machines. 

5 visit punch pass = $25

10 visit punch pass = $50

Personal Training

Private training time is provided by trainers Sara Bigelson.

$40/half hour or $55/hour

$175/5-1/2hour sessions or $250/5-1 hour sessions

Free Fitness Room Orientation

Want to join the fitness room but don't know where to start?  If an introduction to the machines is what you need, join us for an hour-long orientation on our equipment with one of our personal trainers.

Walking Track Information

Frisbee track

The Kittery Community Center has a 7,600 square foot gymnasium and an elevated walking track.  The walking track is open the same hours as the building (M-F, 6am-9pm; Sat, 8am-4pm; Sun, 12pm-4pm).  Summer hours (effective June 5-September 10), Monday-Friday 6:00am-7:00pm; Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm; closed Sundays.  There is no charge for residents to use the walking track, there is a $1 charge for non-residents to use the walking track if not a fitness member.

Open Gymnasium

Kittery Residents: No charge for Gymnasium Use

Non-Residents: Youth (17 and Under) $1.00/day     Adults (18+) $3.00/day

Identification must be shown and an emergency contact form completed at the front desk or you will not be permitted use of the Gymnasium.  See the open gym schedule below for times.

Anyone with a current Fitness Membership will be permitted use of the Gymnasium at no charge.

York Parks & Rec and the Kittery Community Center have partnered to bring you an opportunity to play pickleball this winter/spring!  $3.00 drop-in fee per person or purchase a monthly pass (info below).  Pickleball is played in the Kittery Community Center gymnasium the following days/times:  Mondays 3-5pm, Tuesdays 12-2pm, Wednesdays 5-6:45pm, Thursdays 12-2pm, and Fridays 9-11am.  It will return outdoors to the tennis courts in York in the summer.

2017 Fall Outdoor Soccer

Fall Soccer is a 6-week program running from September 10 – October 15 and consists of Saturday games as well as a game/practice during the week.  Games take place at various fields in town.

2017-18 Basketball

Basketball runs from December-February and consists of Saturday games and/or practices. Games take place at the Kittery Community Center.  

Pee Wees (ages 3&4), K-2nd Grade, and 3rd-8th Grade Divisions. 

Season runs December 9 through February 10 with no games on 12/23 or 12/30. 

$46 resident/$56 non-resident; Late fees start after November 24.

2017 Lacrosse

2017 Registration/Informational nights are as follows:  Boys & Girls Grades 1-4 on Monday, February 13th at 5:30pm at Kittery Community Center.  Boys & Girls Grades 5-8 on Monday, February 13th at 6:30pm at Kittery Community Center.   $90 registration fee to play.  For more information, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. 2017 season runs March 11 - April 22 with registration starting in February.  This sport has divisions for ages 3 up through 6th grade.  Games/practices are held at the Kittery Community Center on Saturdays.

2017 Tee Ball

2017 Season runs from the week of May 8 through the week of June 12 with registration open until April 22.  This sport is open to 5 & 6 year olds.  Six year olds who have played at least one year of T-ball have the choice between T-ball or Little League, but not both.

$67/resident after April 22; $77 non-resident

2017 Little League Baseball

2017 registration starts January 15 and consists of baseball and softball for youth ages 6-16.  Registration is $75 and is open through March 12.  Spring training and tryouts are the weeks of March 13th and March 20th.  Field Clean-Up Day is April 1.  Games begin week of April 24th.  Divisions are Coach Pitch (ages 6-8), Majors Softball (girls 9-12), Jr/Sr Softball (girls 13-16), Minors Baseball (boys 8-11) and Majors Baseball (boys 9-12).  For more information, please visit  For information on Babe Ruth, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Summer Basketball Camps

These camps are instructed by Jeremy Paul, Traip Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach and Scott Blake, Traip Varsity Girl's Basketball Coach.  All camps are held at the Kittery Community Center gymnasium and inslude a t-shirt.

Pee Wee - For the beginner basketball player aged 4 & 5.  An introduction to basketball skills.  July 10-14, 9am-10am, $30.

K-2nd - For the beginner basketball player entering K-2nd Grade.  July 10-14, 9am-11am, $50.

3rd & 4th - For the player who may have some experience and wants to learn more however, no experience is required.  July 10-14, 9am-1pm, $60

5th-8th - For the more experienced player looking to improve on his/her skills.  July 17-21, 8:30am-4pm (end at 1pm on 7/21), $130/person or $200/family. 

Seacoast United Summer Soccer Camp
