Programs

The KCC is proud to offer unique and exciting programs, amenities, and classes for people of all ages. We have a blend of art, fitness, and recreation activities, which enable you to learn and connect with other members of your community. Our programs and facilities have developed from the ideas and involvement of our community, and we’re dedicated to expanding to suit your wants and needs. There’s truly something for everyone!

While most of our classes are open to non-residents, there are some programs that are limited to residents only. There may also be additional fees for non-residents to participate in some programs.

Our Programs

From preschoolers to teens, kids can enjoy the many programs and classes that KCC has to offer. Your child or teen can bond with nature and the White Pine Programs mentors, or enjoy a creative dance, karate, or art program. We have it all!

KCC offers many fun adventures, classes and social events for adults to experience. Enjoy a day outing or take a fitness or dance class right here at the KCC.

The STAR Theatre offers a unique, state-of-the-art venue for live theatre, performance events, lectures, trainings, workshops, concerts, and movies. We schedule everything from plays, dance recitals, movie screenings, wedding receptions, conferences, and more.

Our Nature-Based preschool, Eyes of the World Discovery Center, is licensed by the State of Maine and empowers kids ages 2-5 to become creative, independent and critical thinkers through outdoor play.

The Center’s amenities include a Fitness Room, Gymnasium, and Walking Track for enjoyment. Fitness members have access to a wide array of cardio and weight machines in the Fitness Room, and those interested can benefit from Personal Training that is available.

Prominently located by the STAR Theatre, the Morgan Gallery provides a lovely venue for showcasing works by visual artists. The KCC Arts and Culture Committee curates the programming and schedules an ongoing series of art exhibits.
